Tribal Throwdown is proud to offer over 30 tables and racks of the freshest jewelry, costumes, music, and more, much of it directly from the talented craftspeople who create it! The spacious shopping courtyard will be open to the public free of charge from 9am through 7pm. Black Lotus The Black Lotus clothing line is a collection of unique, hand-sewn pieces inspired by the SF Bay Area belly dance scene. What makes Black Lotus unique is the care that goes into making each piece. Designs are painstakingly silk-screened onto individual parts, details like beads and feathers are carefully placed , and every garment is an original creation. The end result is a costume that serves a purpose as well as tells a story.

Clothing is imported from Rajathan, antique jewelry from Afghanistan and Pakistan, and hand-crafted pure silver artwork from the Tuareg people of Niger. Keeping up with the exciting changing times, we offer fabulous new designs for both the fusion and the traditional tribal girls. We can help you create a unique look for yourself or your whole tribe. Katherine Summer Katherine Summer's signature style combines love of color and graceful composition with unorthodox construction techniques to achieve a whimsical yet elegant gypsy aesthetic. She has worked with Teatro Zinzanni, Azadeh Couture, Cari Borja, and numerous dance troupes, including Ultra Gypsy and Bastet. Katherine's designs have also been featured on magazine covers.
Kosmos Camp The warm summer days at Kosmos Camp are filled with music and dance workshops. Dancers learn and perform on finished dance floors, with wall mirrors in the main lodge. Musicians enjoy instruction and practice opportunities in our open-air venues. Both dancers and musicians study with world-renowned professional teachers in a wide variety of styles from different cultures. And all campers enjoy the luxuries of Saratoga Springs Resort, nestled just over 2 hours north of both San Francisco and Sacramento in 260 private acres of forest. Evenings feature concerts and dance performances by students and staff in the immaculate Heart Lodge, and open-floor dancing with late-night jamming afterwards.

Rosehips Each Rosehips skirt is individually made by Rose Harden, a San Francisco native and member of Ultra Gypsy Dance Company, on the same Singer sewing machine her mom learned to sew on. All items are hand-made, so many of the fabrics have limited availability.

Among the belts, bras & assuit pantaloons on the table, you will also find amazing vintage tribal accessories in silver and high-carat gold.
